Early Encouragement (0 - 5yrs)

Caring for young children is both deeply rewarding and at times exhausting.

In this workshop, you will explore the importance of intentional teaching of simple life skills, the value of connection over correction, and how to notice and encourage progress rather than perfection. You will gain practical tools to support effective problem-solving as challenges arise and to strengthen your child’s emotional development.

The Art of Encouragement
(school age - 6 - 12 years)

This foundational workshop introduces the Positive Discipline approach. In experiential weekly sessions, you will practice respectful and effective tools to strengthen family connection and reduce conflict.

Encouraging Independence
Teenagers

This workshop supports parents in moving from a managing role toward a mentoring relationship with their teenager.

You will explore strategies for building mutual respect, navigating strong emotions, and setting boundaries in ways that support autonomy, responsibility, and long-term trust.

Parent Workshops

Each workshop series consists of eight classes of approximately two hours each, usually held once a week at a school or community centre.
Private courses can be arranged on request for companies, clubs, or charitable organisations (minimum group size: 10 particpants)

Workshop Fee: €199 per family (ie. one or two adults who care for the same child(ren))

Fee includes a copy of a selected book for each course: ‘Positive Discipline’ (German or English edition) ‘Positive Discipline for Preschoolers’ or ‘Positive Discipline for Teenagers’ Refreshments and extra resources also included.

Parent Educator Certification Training

Teaching Parenting the Positive Discipline Way
This official Positive Discipline Association (PDA) certification training to become a parent educator is ideal for school counsellors, educators, sports coaches and other child care professionals who want to offer parent communities they work with effective, long lasting and meaningful support.
