My name is Fionnuala Hoffmann. I’m a Certified Positive Discipline Trainer based in Berlin. I’m from Ireland originally but Germany has been my home for over 25 years.
I first took part in a Positive Discipline workshop in 2016 and was immediately impressed by the power of the teachings. When I started to apply the tools I’d learned in class I found family communication and co-operation immediately improved. I was so inspired by the profound wisdom of this unique Adlerian encouragement model that I quit my teaching job a few months later to become a full time certified Parent Educator. I’ve been facilitating parenting and teacher workshops since 2017 and in 2019 qualified as a Positive Discipline Trainer in order to also run certification workshops. I am an active member of the Positive Discipline Association and in 2022 co-founded PDaD, the German network of Positive Discipline educators. I oversaw the publication and adaption of the German translation of ‘Positive Discipline’ which will be published on December 15th, 2024.
