Fionnuala Hoffmann - Berlin, Germany

Positive Discipline Parenting and Classroom Trainer.

I was first introduced to the Positive Discipline approach in 2016 when I took part in a parent workshop at my sons’ school. It changed my life, both personally and professionally.

At that time in 2016, I was finding it difficult to motivate my eleven year old and four year old twin sons to help around the house, take better care of their belongings and in short to stop all the messing! I was tired of swinging from between being either too strict with the kids or too permissive and I knew there that had to be a better way. There was!

As soon as I started learning how to use the Positive Discipline approach I noticed an immediate shift in the dynamics at home. The focus moved from friction and competition to the fun of cooperation and we all felt more encouraged. I was so impressed and inspired by the profound wisdom of Positive Discipline that I quit my teaching job to teach it full time and I look forward to sharing it with you!

“I’m passionate about the power of the Adlerian approach to fundamentally strengthen adult / child relationships and I love sharing it with others.”

In 2024 I oversaw the publication of the German translation of Positive Discipline.
